Helene has a BTEC national diploma in early years level 3 qualification. She has had many year’s experience working with children aged from as young as 6 weeks up to 11 years old. Working as a nursery practitioner and then room leader at private day nurseries and a local authority nursery. She also took on the role of being a nanny for a number of years for a little boy in the local area, and most recently as a teaching assistant in a specialist primary school, supporting children with educational, health and care plans. (EHCP). Helene supported children with complex, profound and challenging needs. She has loved all these roles as they have all given her different experiences and lessons she can bring into this role with us at Care love learn. She is a very caring, loving, and passionate person and says she can’t wait to be back in St Georges central as this is where she started her training many years ago with Mrs Davis in nursery.
Helene says she “loves making a difference in young children’s lives. Watching them learn through all the experiences they encounter daily and watching them grow in confidence and through the world around them”. She believes that having a happy and loving environment is crucial for children to learn and to be able to express themselves. Helene has two children of her own. 16-year-old Harrison and 10-year-old Anabelle. Doggy mum to her little dachshund Alvin. She loves dog walks, and family days out. Trips away and meals out with her closest friends too.
